Sit back and relax as you begin your nostalgic rail journey through one of the most beautiful parts of Queensland on the vintage railmotor RM76.... Our region boasts great produce and producers. Enjoy a tasting plate on board featuring local fare and learn about the food bowl that is the Mary Valley as you travel around an abundance of curves, over bridges and numerous gentle hills. On your return to historic Gympie Station, lunch is served with a beverage of choice is included (beer, wine, soft drink) with additional bar service available. 16.01.2022 Our all-access carriage dates back to 1924 and needed extensive renovation and upgrading to make it rail-worthy for the Mary Valley Rattler steam train. While built originally to house up to 90 passengers on cross bench seats in nine compartments, the new configuration is a far more spacious with 56 seats and four dedicated and fully-equipped wheelchair spaces. Each Staff has written on it the name of the section for which it applies to ie. Lagoon Pocket to Gympie.... The basics of this system are that a driver must not leave the station without being in possession of the train staff.
