25.01.2022 At Masada, we encourage and embrace cross grade friendships. Mrs Gerson and Mrs Levenston wanted to bring these friendships into the classroom. Years 2 and 3 came together and created group artworks based on four different pieces of music. The students interpreted the music and in small groups, drew symbols, images and wrote words. Together, students produced a large artwork, all whilst cooperating and respecting their friends. #HIVEofpotential #Masadaproud

21.01.2022 We had a surprise visitor that decided to make her home in the Junior School lost property box! Lea, our Junior School receptionist, phoned her daughter, Pippa, who is a past Masada student and Sydney Wildlife Rescue Volunteer to collect the possum. Pippa will return to the campus on dusk to release the possum, as they are very territorial animals! Please send your children to check for their lost items before other possums become comfortable in our Masada uniforms! #HIVEof...potential #Masadaproud See more

14.01.2022 "Recently, Year 8 and I have had the privilege to cook in the kitchen at school. We cooked sweet and savoury scones along with a delicious salsa cruda pasta. This unit started in term two, over zoom, in our own home and we learnt valuable skills including chopping vegetables and cooking meals such as omelettes and French toast. Cooking at school was most definitely easier and cooking in pairs helped to improve our communication and collaboration skills. I can say with enthusiasm that we all thoroughly enjoyed this cooking unit!" Dan Belzycki #HIVEofpotential #Masadaproud
