22.01.2022 Shiatsu Masa’s Lockdown Diary 3. We just got an announcement that we have to be in another 2 weeks Stage 4 Lockdown in Melbourne. It's really frustrating that I couldn't work and I really miss my clients... I try to not think about negative things and try enjoy everyday life more.... Melbourne is Spring now. Weather is nice, but very windy. Protect your neck from Wind as I always say. Anyway, Spring for me, It's Mugwort season! Mugwort, is called Yomogi in Japanese. When we go for a walk along the Yarra river, we saw many of them close to the water area. Some of you may know moxibustion, we also called Moxa which we utilise sometimes in our treatments. Moxa is compressed fur from back of Mugwort leaves. Making good quality Moxa is quite complicated work and so some good quality one is pretty expensive. Yomogi, has little bitter taste and beautiful grassy, soothing smell. It can be used for tea, cooking, and in Japan we even use for in the bath water. It has anti-inflammatory effects for external used, and good for your tummy too. Stay safe. Stay positive.
