24.01.2022 We are sad to announce that MASCA WA will be discontinuing our Grocery Fund Aid starting from 1st of August All new applications made after the deadline would not be accepted Those who sent in their grocery receipt and the pictures of the grocery before the deadline would be able to claim their money We have helped out a few students who were in need during this pandemic period. We hope to do projects like these in the future. Till then stay tuned with us - MASCA WA

24.01.2022 Meet & Greet 2020 has officially ended! Were very honoured to have the Consulate-General of Malaysia in Perth, WA joining us for our first physical event of the year! 21.01.2022 It's a wrap for MASCA's annual Summer Ball 2020. This year, we had the most amazing time in Double Tree Hilton, Northbridge served up with a 3 course meal that was an absolute bomb! 15.01.2022 Dear Malaysians in Western Australia, QUARANTINE CHARGES IN MALAYSIA FOR MALAYSIANS AND ELIGIBLE NON-MALAYSIANS In relation to Covid-19, effective 1 June 2020, Malaysians returning to Malaysia from abroad are required to pay RM1,050.00 for the mandatory 14-day quarantine at a designated quarantine centre.... Non-Malaysians who are eligible to enter Malaysia during the Movement Control Order period are required to pay RM2,100.00 for the same purpose. You may not choose the location of your quarantine centre. In this regard, all Malaysians and eligible non-Malaysians travelling back to Malaysia from Perth, Western Australia on or after 1 June 2020 are required to have: (1) Surat Aku Janji dan Indemniti Orang di Bawah Pengawasan (Surat Aku Janji) / Letter of Undertaking and Indemnity Person Under Surveillance (LOU); and (2) Permission to Travel to Malaysia Letter issued by the Consulate-General of Malaysia in Perth, Western Australia ***** (1) Surat Aku Janji / LOU If you are a Malaysian, please download the LOU here: https://www.kln.gov.my//3c6a23eb-4806-4131-afe7-9f14f9ef5a (BM) If you are a non-Malaysian, please download the LOU here: https://www.kln.gov.my//ac9c75b3-4924-4d0c-b7c9-e7c90c75b3 (English) Both downloads also include Guidelines on the Entry and Quarantine Process. The Letter issued by the Consulate-General is only for travellers departing from Perth, Western Australia. ***** Upon arrival in Malaysia, you will be required to present the LOU and Consulate-Generals Letter to representatives of the National Disaster Management Agency at KLIA. Husband and wife are required to quarantine in separate rooms. Children under 12 years of age may stay in the same room with his/her parent. Children 12 years and above will be quarantined in his/her own room. The quarantine cost for each child is the same (RM1,050.00). Do note however, that the cost per child could vary depending on each quarantine centre's (hotel) policy. Children under 12 years of age may choose which parent to quarantine with if accompanied by both parents upon arrival in Malaysia.

As of today, the 2020 MASCA Committee has been dismissed; welcoming MASCA's 2021 Committee.
