20.01.2022 Few progress pics of an inbuilt shelving unit started today for a mother's day present. Merbau laminated panels used to make this one. Bench top at 900 with overhead storage at 1800. All panels currently getting stained ready to be installed and doors made and fitted. Watch this space

18.01.2022 Spent the day modernising another old home. Removed the old veneer doors and replaced with the Humes Oakfield. Few challenging frames with them being under standard sizes, but nothing a plane, circular saw and skilled professional can't sort out. Thought about doing this at your home, call Tristan today to see what options are available for your

18.01.2022 Walk In Robe refit done in Dalyellup recently. The photo's don't do it justice. The client's were frustrated with their single L shape shelving with hanging rail and wanted to utilise as much space as possible. Replaced with a section of double hanging for shirts and pants underneath, a section for long hanging so dresses and suits and finished off with pigeon hole shelving for foldable clothes and a 320 deep pigeon hole shoe rack.... Floor plinth also for shoes and two high shelves for all the seasonal clothes I think has really made the most of the high ceiling and space in the robe. After more storage solutions like this in your home, call Tristan today for a quote. @ Dalyellup

13.01.2022 It's messages like these that give you warm fuzzies after a job. Yesterday had a pair of doors installed by Masdo's Carpentry. Tristan did an amazing job. He was very precise and I am enormously pleased with the final reault. I totally recommend him and hope his business flourishes. Thanks Julie that has made my morning

12.01.2022 Finally got to finish this little job off. Cushion upholstery done Jarrad at Southern Comfort Upholstery. Exterior Vinyl with a leather look for a spot on finish. Trim painted to match the truck and box stained to match the deck so it looks like its been there forever. If you want to see this up close and in person make sure you get out to the Brunswick show this year and into the future

10.01.2022 Back at it today on Mum's Mothers Day present. All of the panels have be stained ready to be installed. 500 high shelf, 400 deep to be set in nice in the bottom section. Doors on both the bottom and over head section to hide away things that you don't want to display to everyone in your house. Big thanks to John Ablett for letting me cut the doors on his saw this arvo too.... Need more storage solutions at your place and tired of the cookie cutter solutions at Bunnings and Ikea? Give Tristan a call today for a custom solution option

10.01.2022 Fire pit decked seating I completely for some mates to their drawings a few weeks back. 90mm Merbau decking for the perfect sitting height on pavers they had already laid

09.01.2022 Little garage conversation I did to finish the week. Client wanting to make use of the old garage and change it into their new entry way. They removed the old roller door and fixed this bad boy in it's place. Double sidelight with a pair of 820 10 lite doors. Budget was a bit of an issue so we salvaged the doors that where used internally and cut them to suit which saved the client a few $$. Yes the handles don't line up perfectly but that's the nature of the beast when salv...aging doors and I prefer wonky handles over out of whack glazing bars. Big thats too all my suppliers that made this happen. Steve at Steve Dunn Joinery for the frame work, LGA for the glass and M&B for all the hardware. Also installed a small little stud wall to divide off what will be a new entryway from the new play room. #buylocal #supportlocaltrades #keepeachotherbusy #communityspirit

09.01.2022 Little update on the frame work job from a few weeks back. Gyprock done by Zavier of Austral Ceilings which has come up an absolute treat. Flushed and cornice preped ready for paint. Fixed the two jambs and swung the doors with handles to match the rest in the house. Architrave profile to make it look like the metal frames. JST 10 to the office and a Readicote on the play room.... Can't wait to see these painted

08.01.2022 Nice little transformation today. Full rip out of the old frame as it had bad weather damage to the sill under the door and bottom glazing bead. Measured, made and installed the new frame with draft seal and a spot on RP4 along with a Delf entance handle and deadbolt. ... Glass supplied by LGA for the side light. Love using Translucent for privacy but also lets light in. Door is a Humes Verve VER 1 as the side light really lights up the entry way. If you have an old, tired entry way give Tristan a call today for what option will suit you best

07.01.2022 Update on the old 80s entry brought into the modern day. Tinted stain for the jarrah look and a refresh on the frame has made this look mint in my opinion. Always happy to recommend stains/paints or even a painter if you don't want to do it yourself so what do you have to loose, call Tristan today

06.01.2022 First fix done for WA Country Builders down in Bridgetown. All MDF jambs made on site with stops and architrave. Shelving through out along with some decrotive awning fixtures and a farm style front door. #firstjob #selfemployed #isolatingonsite #masdoscarpentry @ Bridgetown, Western Australia

Call Tristan at Masdo's Carpentry and he can give you options as simple and updating your doors like this one or even replace and refresh the whole opening, no job too big or small. ... Door style respecting the farm house vibe at this house while also modernising it, just waiting for the client to stain.

03.01.2022 Few little snaps from this weeks WACB fix. Linen cupboard with gallows bracket due to the length of shelf. Robe with pigeon hole shelves and duel hanging rails for children's clothes or even to hang shirts and pants. In my opinion it's a better use if robe space over a shelf and rail and saving people a trip to Ikea for storage solutions.... Yes this can be retro fitted to your place so why not call or message Tristan to discuss your options.

02.01.2022 Some engineered timber floor that I layed this week. Can be used as both floating or direct stick. Matt brushed finished Blackbutt used in these two rooms, safe to say running up and down the stairs to cut definitely got the legs going.

02.01.2022 Here's something you don't do everyday. I jumped at the opportunity to do this because how often does it happen? Timber clad Toolbox for a 1927 Chevy truck to transport minor tools and a fire extinguisher in. Quick little design pine frame work before cladding in as close as possible matching timber boards to the deck of the truck. Internal lined with marine ply for durability and a cushioned top coming for people to sit on.... Can't wait too see it all stained/painted and cushion fitted and guess what you'll be able to see it too at The Brunswick Show for years to come! It's projects like this thank really make me love what I do
