23.01.2022 n o b a k e a p p l e d o n u t s This is a healthy option for donuts! They are not only healthier but are super colourful, fun to make and gets everyone in the fambam involved. Perfect for an afternoon inside with the kids. I have made a few different types, chocolate (for big hands) and cream cheese or yoghurt (for smaller hands). I mean we can’t miss out on the fun!... 4 apples ( I used pink lady apples) Spreadable cream cheese Yogurt (any flavour) chilled in the freezer for 10-15 minutes 1 block of milk chocolate Toppings blueberries, raspberries, sprinkles, coconut flakes, desiccated coconut, sprinkles, choc chips, the options are endless. Just choose toppings that are appropriate for the age of your little monster. Adults, eat your heart out. Prep time 10 minutes Freeze time 10 minutes Makes 15-16 donuts Age as above, choose topping suitable for your little ones. Grab a tray and line with baking paper. Wash the apples and cut into slices and place on the tray. You can peel the apples if you wish. Cut out a circle in the middle ( I used a cookie cutter or you can use a nozzle off your icing piping bag). Pat the apples dry with some paper towel. I found this helps the toppings to hold better on the apples. Now its time to decorate! Melt the chocolate in the microwave in 30 seconds spurts and mix, repeating the process until the chocolate is completely melted. Now you can dunk the apples face down as a base for your donuts. Spread the cream cheese, or pour the yogurt over the apples for a healthier base. Sprinkle your toppings and whack in the fridge for 10 minutes or until the bases are set. Or you can serve immediately if you want some messy fun! Enjoy these babies in the afternoon sun. 12.01.2022 To the boy who stole Mummy’s heart & took it with him, Happy Birthday my beautiful boy. There has yet to be a moment in time since you left my mind & I don’t think it could ever be possible. The love I have for you totally consumes me. There is nothing... nothing more I want in life than my two boys to play & grow up together but knowing Eden was a gift & a missing piece of you brought back down from the stars makes my heart grow to life again. I will always wonder what you ...would have looked like, what you would have sounded like, what colour your eyes are, what your favourite food is, if you looked like me....but all I know is that every birthday you have, is another day towards me finding my way back to you. So here’s my birthday cake I made for you Masey, for a cheeky boy that would have been 3, that would have liked to watch Bluey & maybe that your favourite colour was blue too. 08.01.2022 What a year it has been! A big one with the arrival of our rainbow baby Eden Mason, the heartbreaking bushfires & damn Covid 19! With some big ups & lots of downers, I am proud to say that even during a tough year & whilst even being on maternity leave, we managed to raise $1020 with some of the proceeds going to RedCross earlier this year towards helping with the fires & the rest going to Red Nose Australia Thank you for everyone’s support during this crazy time, I kn...ow times are tough but the generosity has been absolutely amazing. And since every year on Mason’s birthday I choose a new children’s charity to support for the next 12 months, I thought I would reach out & ask for suggestions! It doesn’t have to be a widely known charity, I am happy to support the small ones that get unnoticed! So please comment below if you wish to recommend a charity for the new year!

Heartfelt is a volunteer organisation of professional photographers dedicated to giving the gift of photographic memories to families who have experienced stillbirth or have children with serious or life threatening illness. Heartfelt is dedicated to providing this gift in a caring & compassionate manner, with all services free of cha...rge. A lovely Heartfelt photographer did turn up on Mason’s last day offering to take photos for us with him & that was the first time I had actually heard of them. They are a fantastic charity that provide precious keepsakes & memories for parents, especially parents & families saying goodbye to their children. It’s a tough gig & they don’t get paid for it. So let’s bring on another year of support to help the little people & their families! See more

Eden definitely approved of these as he smashed them in under 2 minutes. Here is my healthy take on the banana sushi that you might see that contains Nutella! Prep time 3 minutes... Makes 7-10 sushi pieces Age 10 months of eating plus (contains nuts) 1 banana 1 @missionfoodsanz original wrap Generous spread of Bega almond butter or you can use @begapeanutbutter Place the wrap on a cutting board and spread with almond butter. Peel banana and lay in on the edge of the wrap. Roll the nana up! Slice into rounds and arrange on a plate facing up! Voila, a simple, healthy, quick and easy lunch, snack or afternoon tea!
