02.01.2022 A great result from the Rotary Whitehorse Farmers’ Market on Sunday! With 48 stalls and a new location we had many positive comments about our new layout. It wa...s lovely to see the families (and their dogs) out and about. Many thanks to all our fabulous volunteers who helped set up, took the coins at the entrances, made sure everyone was socially distanced, counted the money and helped pack up. Special thanks to Simon for all his organisation. It was a great lift for the community, the stall holders and the Rotarians to have some normalcy in their lives! Thanks also to our loyal stall holders and patrons - See you all next month.. 8/11/20!

01.01.2022 Another great Rotary Club of Mont Albert & Surrey Hills project contributing to the cost of computers for the Robert Veenstra Centre in South Africa. The Entrepreneurship Centre is a Community Centre that was established in 2009 for the Community of Ndlambe. The Centre offers Entrepreneurship courses and basic computer skills. It also teaches entrepreneurs on how to run their own businesses. Rotary plays a big role for this Centre as part of our Community Development Projects in the Ndlambe Municipality . The computers were in dire need of replacement due to the unavailability of spares. We are delighted that the Australian Rotary Club of Mont Albert and Surrey Hills together with District 9810 and the E-Club of South Africa One made the upgrade project possible.
