22.01.2022 DENNIS . The Mask makes DENNIS seem almost like an animation, with his facial expression frozen, all of his emotion must be conveyed through the performers body and Bolster perfects the physicality beautifully - stringing the audience along making them laugh or sigh with awkward empathy - (sometimes both at the same time). - Culture Box . .... DENNIS is the moving and heart-warming story of a lonely, loveable and misunderstood character who lives by himself in a small flat. DENNIS has always wanted to fall in love, however, so far, he has never attained it. He has seen what love is supposed to be - on the television, couples holding hands in the streets, the next-door neighbours’ dogs every Sunday morning. However, DENNIS himself has never had a companion until now! . . . www.clintbolster.com . . #masktheatre #physicalactor #clown #comedy #empathy #joy #fun #laughter #play #resilience #love #friendship #connection #heart #nonverbalcommunication #storytelling See more

19.01.2022 Please Share: Artists are not OK right now. Broadway is closed until 2021, Cirque is filing for bankruptcy, Feld laid off 90% of its workforce permanently, cr...uise ship performers are out of work, theme park performers have no idea when they will be recalled, many circuses have closed and musicians concerts and gigs are cancelled. Performing arts organizations of all kinds..choirs, theaters, orchestras, dance companies, dance studios are all trying to figure out on a daily basis how to keep going and employ anyone they can in the field. If you know anyone in the arts industry reach out to them and tell them they matter. Give them a virtual hug and make sure they are taken care of. Donate to arts organizations and keep arts alive. 01.01.2022 PLEASE HELP US TO SURVIVE . Dear friend of Clint Bolster, Homunculus Theatre, The Mask Family and Manoeuvre Stilt Performers, . I hope you are fairing as best as you can, in this ever-changing, unprecedented and uncertain time. ... . As you know, the Covid 19 Pandemic has had a catastrophic effect globally. Sadly, the entertainment industry in Australia has not been unscathed. . As a supplier of world-class entertainment; regionally, locally, nationally and internationally, for over 16 years if has always been our mandate, that as artists, our job is to: . -instil change. -inspire hope. -connect directly to the hearts of our audiences. - and uplift their lives. . In the last week alone, since the government's decision to cancel festivals and events nationally; we have lost in excess of $50,000 in immediate, potential and projected bookings for myself and our ensemble of performers. . Overnight we have seen our livelihoods dissolve, and the ability to put food on the table, evaporate. This is a very real situation, and it is happening now - which is devastating for our community. . We have a Go Fund Me Campaign - link attached. . Your contribution, understanding and support through this incredibly turbulent time, is absolutely vital for our artist's survival. . All money raised will go directly to help our ensemble of artists. We extend our deepest gratitude to those who offer their support to us during this difficult time. .
