15.01.2022 As a chairman of the organising committee of the MASO Cup 2019 I want to thanks and congratulate everyone in the Macedonian community for the fantastic determin...ation and the great results. The three day tournament from 26-28 Jan 2019 was the largest event organised by the Macedonian communities from Queanbeyan and Canberra. We have been congratulated by the participants and the spectators. We have exceeded their expectations. Lot of them said this was the best MASO cup they have ever been. For the very first time in the 11 years history of this cup, the 20 meters painted sun of Kutlesh at the centre of the main stadium was the focal point of the event. Everyone was impressed. The drone video of the sun posted on Facebook surpassed 7000 views. There was literally no spectator that has not taken several photos of it. The opening ceremony was equally impressive. We have been praised for the event scheduling and the competition management. Also for the very first time in the 11 years history of the cup we had up to date online information of the match results and tables on our Facebook page. The effort of the small Macedonian communities from Queanbeyan and Canberra at this year’s MASO Cup is a great example of a community coming and pulling together for the common event. The results speak for themselves and the Macedonians should be proud of them. You are all champions. It was an absolute pleasure to work with every one of the organising committee members and volunteers. The level of energy, dedication and willingness to help whenever it’s needed is unparalleled. This was one of the greatest challenge for the community and we’ve made it. We all wanted this event to be successful and to show to the others that we could host a three days event with over 3000 people. 34 teams from 15 football clubs with over 750 players participated in the three days event. We needed this sorts of pure motive to nurture our communities. What this created was something remarkable. The volunteers participation was essential, and they all had something to contribute. Only together, as a community, we could give beyond our individual means. Community is a powerful word. When you bring a community together, great things can happen. When all members of the community pull together for a united cause, the power becomes unlimited. Thanks everyone. Тридневниот турнир од 26-28 ануари 2019 година беше наголемиот настан организиран од македонскaтa заедницa на овие простори. Честитки ни пристигаат од сите страни, од луето на социалните мрежи, oд учесниците и од гледачите. Ги надминавме сите нивни очекуваа. Многу од нив рекоа дека ова е надобриот MASO Cup на ко што тие присуствувале. За прв пат од 11 годишното постоее на ово турнир, 20 метарското сонце од Кутлеш, насликано на центарот на главниот стадион беше фокусна точка на настанот. Сите беа импресионирани. Видеото од сонцето направено со дрон, кое беше обавено на Фесбук, прегледано е преку 7000 пати. Немаше буквално ниту еден гледач ко не направи фотографии од него. Церемониата на отвораето беше подеднакво импресивна. Бевме пофалени за менаираето на турнирот и натпреварите. Исто така за првпат во 11 годишната историа на ово турнир, имавме онлан обавувувае на нановите информации, резултатите и табелите од натпреварите на нашата Фесбук страница. Напорите на малата македонска заедница од Квинбиан и Канбера на овогодишниот MASO Cup 2019 е одличен пример како заедницата може да се организира и успешно да го реализира заедничкиот настан. Резултатите говорат за себе и Македонците od овие простори треба да се гордеат со нив. Вие сте сите шампиони. Ми беше апсолутно задоволство да работам со секо член на организациониот комитетот и волонтерите. Нивото на енергиа, посветеност и подготвеност да помогнат секогаш кога е потребно, е неспоредливо и за секоа пофалба. Ова беше еден од наголемите предизвици за заедницата и сите заедно, успешно го совладавме. Сите сакавме ово настан да биде успешен и да се докажеме дека иако мали, спремни сме и можеме да организираме тридневен турнир со над 3000 луе. На тридневниот настан учествуваа 34 екипи од 15 фудбалски клубови со над 750 играчи. Ваков вид на чист мотив и беше потребен на заедницата. Она што го направи беше нешто извонредно. Учеството на волонтерите беше од суштинско значее и сите тие посебно придонесоа, секо во своот домен и во во своите капацитети. Заедница е моен збор. Кога е а ангажирате цела заедница, се случуваат големи работи. Кога сите членови на заедницата се здружуваат околу заедничка цел или настан, мота станува неограничена.
