12.01.2022 BEACHES NORTHERN ZONE: Restrictions for those living in the northern zone are not expected to change before 9th January. This means: - No visitors to the home... - Up to five residents from the northern zone can gather in outdoor public spaces for exercise and recreation - Non-essential businesses remain closed. The government's listed reasons for exemption - see below - still apply. BEACHES SOUTHERN ZONE From midnight tonight, those living in the Beaches' southern zone are out of lock down but subject to the same restrictions as the rest of Sydney. This means: - You can have up to five visitors (including children) to your home per day - Up to 30 people can gather in an outdoor public space. Also in line with Greater Sydney: - Gym classes will be limited to 30 people - Places of worship and religious services will be limited to one person per 4sqm up to a maximum of 100 people per separate area - Weddings and funerals will be limited to one person per 4sqm up to a maximum of 100 people - Outdoor performances and protests will be limited to 500 people - Controlled, outdoor gatherings (seated, ticketed, enclosed) limited to 2,000 people - Night clubs not permitted. FACE MASKS MANDATORY From Sunday 3rd January face masks must be worn in indoor settings. This means: - Shopping (retail, supermarkets and shopping centres) - Public/shared transport, indoor entertainment (including cinemas and theatres) - Places of worship, hair and beauty premises - For all staff in hospitality venues and casinos and for patrons using gaming services. Children under 12 are exempt but still encouraged to wear masks where practicable. From Monday 4th, non-compliance will attract $200 on the spot fines. SUMMARY: People are still encouraged to limit non-essential gatherings and reduce their mobility where possible to further minimise the risk of transmission in the community. As always, when going out please be COVID safe: - wear a mask - maintain social distancing - keep hands sanitised - get tested if you have even the mildest cold or flu symptoms. For more on the changes head to: https://www.nsw.gov.au//update-on-restrictions-2-january-2 For more on the restrictions for Greater Sydney: https://www.nsw.gov.au//what-you-can-and-ca/greater-sydney For those living in the northern zone, essential reasons for leaving home: - shopping for food or other goods and services - medical care or compassionate needs - exercise - work or education, where you cannot work or learn from home - access childcare - provide care or assistance (including personal care) to a vulnerable person or to provide emergency assistance - move to a new place of residence, or between your different places of residence - continue existing arrangements for access to, and contact between, parents and children living in different households - donate blood - undertake legal obligations - access social services, employment services, services provided to victims (including as victims of crime), domestic violence services, and mental health services - attend to an emergency or for compassionate reasons, including where two people are in a relationship but do not necessarily live together - avoid injury or illness or to escape a risk of harm. Still for those in the north, taking a holiday outside the area is not a reasonable excuse and people from outside the area should not be coming in.
12.01.2022 How exciting that the borders are slowly coming down and life returning to normal. However, make sure you are aware of what you can and cant do as fines are signifgant and can result in criminal charges. What do you think of the vaccines that have been bought by the government? Will you be rushing out to get them?
11.01.2022 Your Friday funny post !
08.01.2022 Been to your local library lately ? They are an awesome starting point for a whole range of community resources such as addiction and mental health to scones and scrabble - how good is that ?
05.01.2022 If your keen to reach an amicable agreement with your partner for parenting or property, doing so via consent order or divorce consent order as they are commonly known is a cost effective and efficient way of doing so. For a confidential and obligation free consultation - give us a call to find out more on 02 8052 3322 or email or Facebook us.
