The Government has deemed that as we are not technically Allied Health and members of AHPRA, (despite the needs of our clients), we are not an "Essential Service" and therefor must cease treating immediately, until furth...er notice. I understand that for many of you, a Remedial Massage or Myotherapy Treatment offers you great relief from your pain and its incredibly frustrating to not be able to offer that to you at this time. I can though offer you advice on self help techniques and prescribe you at home movement and stretching exercises. So please, if you find yourself in pain, pick up the phone and call me for a chat. Having a well functioning and efficient immune system is key to surviving the current health crisis. Not only will it help to alleviate the stress and anxiety associated with the outbreak, it will also help your body to fight the illness, should you come into co...ntact with it. i'd like to take a moment to reassure you that all surfaces are wiped down with antibacterial wipes between clients, fresh towels are always used in each treatment, hands are washed in warm soapy water, the room is sprayed with antibacterial spray and hand sanitiser is available to clients (for as long as i can get it). Its important to keep a level of daily normality with all the craziness thats going on around us. Stick to your usual routine as much as possible. Exercise, eat healthy food, practice good hygiene and care for your physical and mental health with massage, stretching and exercise. In other words, be FIT TO FIGHT!
