22.01.2022 What is Remedial Massage? A lot of people think remedial massage is a deep tissue massage or sports massage. Remedial massage is so much more than the amount of pressure you apply. It is about identifying dysfunction with muscles in the body and using a variety of techniques to help the muscles in dysfunction return to normal function.... These 2 photos I have shared (with the permission of my client) clearly show dysfunction with some muscles causing a visual change in the body. This client came to me with a sore left shoulder. After assessment it was clear that their right shoulder was the one that had muscle dysfunction. Sometimes where pain is felt in the body is not always the area causing the pain. For this client their left side was under more stress compensating for their right side due to the physical work they do. What you see is the first photo is commonly known as winging of the scapular (). The second photo is after I have treated the associated muscles with the scapular winging. You can see the results from my treatment, the point of the scapular () has dropped to almost level with its opposite. This client returned to work the next day with no muscle pain. The event @777marathon is helping @braveheartsprotectkids raise money to go towards raising awareness, the provention and support of child abuse victims. Celeste's goal is to raise $10,000 and run 7 marathons in 7 days and in 7 different states Thats a total of just over 290km in 7 days! 15.01.2022 OPEN FOR BUSINESS Queensland Health released updated restrictions for non-essential businesses on Tuesday 21st of April Queensland Health have lifted restrictions on remedial massage... What this means is that you can receive ONLY remedial massage, NOT relaxation massage The massage therapist needs to have a Diploma of Remedial Massage qualification or higher, be a member of a massage association and hold a provider number for a private health insurance I am super stoked to be able to say I tick all those boxes It's times like now that we need to get out there where we can and show our support for small businesses as they become able to operate again. I am a strong supporter of local businesses and have been doing what I can to help those that need it and encourage you all to do the same. We still have a way to go until things are back to normal, but these new changes to my industry are a good indicator that the end is not that far away. Stay strong and keep positive

04.01.2022 Northern Gold Relay for Life @kendallfitnessgc pumping up the relay participants at 3.30am with Clubbercise Not sure where the energy came from especially when everyone had been walking the oval since 3pm the day before I had a really good time at this event and was really impressed with the amount of laps around the oval people were clocking up. There were definitely some visibly sore bodies by day break.... Well done to all of Team Kendall Fitness and supporters that helped raise over $8000. I also thank all those that kept me busy massaging into the early hours of the morning I hope everyone got some well deserved rest today #bestdressed
