25.01.2022 Here's my view when I'm doing some dry needling to my own knee. I woke up with a sore knee this morning. Nothing major, probably a bit of strain on the tendon from playing volleyball last night but enough that I was limping around trying to organise my kids and get them to school. A simple painless 7min treatment and my knee pain is gone from a 6/10 to a 2/10! Let's see how I feel at the end of the day after being on my feet all day.

07.01.2022 What is dry needling??? It is NOT acupuncture. I have had quite a few people contact me in the last week for acupuncture. Although they are similar they are also two very different treatments. With dry needling we are looking for trigger points and tender parts in a muscle. The needles get inserted in to the muscle and are used to release tension, ease pain and soreness, help with inflammation, and promote healing. During acupuncture, needles are inserted into the skin along ...certain energy (meridian) points around the body. What is it good for???? Our goal is to reduce your pain. We look further into referred pain. Referred pain is when a trigger point in a muscle refers pain to another part of your body. Eg: A muscle in your calf is a common culprit for causing pain in your heel. It is used to treat pain and a range of injuries. - Arthirits in the knee (Highly recommend) This has been a game changer for some of my older clients who have knee issues. - Carpal tunnel - Sore feet/achillis tendonitis/plantar fasciitis/sprained ankles - Tennis and golfers elbow - TMJ and jaw pain - Great in recovery after injuries - Headaches I could go on forever!
