15.01.2022 I’m just wanting to advise everyone that I’m choosing to follow my association’s recommendation to cease all treatments for the next 2 weeks!! I do not make this decision lightly! I would never forgive myself if I or one of my clients was non symptomatic during a treatment and it was somehow passed onto someone that is vulnerable. I’ve been in contact with all clients booked in already to reschedule but if I’ve missed you or if you would like an appointment in 2 weeks time p...lease don’t hesitate to get in contact with me. I’ve attached part of the email I received from my association and I hope everyone can understand and continue to support me in the future. Since it is impossible for massage therapists to socially distance in the course of their job, AMT sees no option but to urge members to notify their clients immediately that it is not possible or feasible to carry out treatment in light of the current Department of Health social distancing guidelines. Shut down of massage therapy practices is, in fact, the only way to fully comply with the new guidelines announced yesterday.
