24.01.2022 Everybody meet Max, Max says that vegetables are not his favourite. So I decided to combine his favourite thing to eat, chocolate with carrots, zucchini and a boost of nutrients with AptaGrow. You will try anything sometimes to get the kids to eat their veggies. They were a big hit so a very happy dad. #sponsored... #pickyeater #pickyeating #fussyeater

22.01.2022 I love this shot of Rio and I taken by @adam.gibson.photo for our Electrolux shoot at home. When you talk about family tradition, passion for quality, nurturing, generosity and pride. For me it began here in the garden, for my mum it began here with her mum and for my kids it begins here with me. Even if they don’t eat it, they are present and connected and I’m ok with that (for now). #growyourownfood #electrolux

18.01.2022 Sunday Lunch... Buon Apetito!!
18.01.2022 A little twist on the classic Insalata di polpo e patate. We served this dish at our @electroluxau event in the new studio. Octopus cooked in sea water and then marinated in vinegar, garlic, extra virgin olive oil. The twist is the addition of the @thegrainfamily Tibetan Barley in place of the potatoes. I think it’s ok to play with the classics sometimes!! #octopus #barley #local Styled by @charlotteabell ... @adam.gibson.photo See more

10.01.2022 The ‘How-To’ for Franko #5 Launching Friday 27 November 2020. It’s a big gig implementing a Covid-Safe Event plan. It means loads more infrastructure and load...s more people power (our team has grown from 5 to 30). Because of this there are a number of changes to Franko so that we can comply with Public Health directives and power this baby up, but power it up safely. Franko is now a pre-booked, ticketed event with a range of sittings that you can select from when you book. There are no gate sales and so your ticket guarantees you entry into the event. Tickets cost $5.50+BF with kids U16 free. Your $5.50 entry fee is an investment into the employment of 30 additional people in your community and, an investment into getting the small food businesses that we work with, and Franko back into action again So that we comply with all things Public Health, here's what's new we are now a pre-booked, ticketed event (no gate sales) and tix will be limited! we'll offer a range of 2 hour sittings that you can select on booking tix are on sale for the first 2 Frankos Friday 27 November - season opener Friday 04 December Tix can be purchased on our website streeteatsfranko.com.au we’ve backed off the voltage this year and we’re going Lo-Fi Instead of one big band, you’ll find 2 music zones across the park Jazz+Soul @ the Chessboard DJ spinning lo-fi beats on the stage Some things however, never change Our 100% Tassie eats+craft brews+music ..... and of course, that park See you soon Hobart, we've sure missed ya
10.01.2022 Woweee !! What an incredible first month in our new beautiful venue. Thankyou to all of our friends, family and especially to all our patrons that have been i...n to visit: albeit once or multiple times over the past 4 weeks. It was a big risk opening a restaurant in the midst of a work wide health crisis, some pll thought we were mad, but for both of us, it was a life long dream to have a waterfront, fun venue with good food and great beverages. Thankyou for welcoming me back to the beautiful south coast after 23 years in Sydney, it certainly is wonderful to be home. Mostly I’d like to say Thankyou to this incredible human standing next to me in this photo; Thiago. T (as as call him) is the creative brains behind Ponte’s food and beverages; he is passionate, focused, kind, humble and is the hardest working man you’ll ever meet ! Next time you are in, say hi to T as you walk past the kitchen. We both look forward to seeing you all again over the summer ! Thankyou again for your support Shaz and T xx

01.01.2022 One thing Max does love to eat is nuggets, often it may just be chicken but sometimes I make them with fish. So this fish cake recipe is perfect, it incorporates fish, potatoes, corn and AptaGrow. The fish cakes are coated in crushed rice cakes which give them a delicious coating #sponsored... #pickyeater #pickyeating #fussyeater
