21.01.2022 How Much would you risk before you expected a return? =========================================== This is a question that keeps running through my mind as we ap...proach the 4 week mark from one of the greatest challenges we have ever set ourselves. It is also a question I have to ask many of the business owners we work with. People express their dreams and desires and can articulate what it is they really want... Where most fall short is not in having big dreams... It is in taking action towards those big dreams where there is a lot at risk. Right now we are 4 weeks out from opening a business in another country in an area we selected from demographic info & research... We do not know a single person in this area, we will be a new business and no one will know us... as we head into our opening So far we have spent close to $60k in getting set up with at least another $15-$20k to be spent before we even open up and get our 1st paying customers We are moving team members into brand new roles in a place they have never lived in before... We have set up 2 new overseas companies, 1 new office in Hong Kong and by the end of this week hopefully a house/ office we can live in for 4-6 months of the year in the US We are 100% all in and have not only committed to this in a financial sense but we are bringing all 3 of my children with us for them to be a part of what we are building and to see how you can achieve anything you set your mind on!! We have hired a full time assistant to help us run our crazy lives and the other 2 international businesses we already currently run Jess Mckenzie and myself are also trying to get in the best shape we have been in for years...as we have been in the "bulking phase" for too long We have investors who have taken a risk buying into our vision that we are also 100% committed to making sure this turns out to be the best investment they have ever made!! I share this with you becuase I want you to realise that without risk there will not be reward... I sat down on a Sat afternoon in December last year and in 3 hrs mapped out our entire year to the exact date and planned everything we wanted to achieve and by when... I did not know how we would do this...I also did not realise just how much we would have to risk to even make it happen... Let alone get a instant or even delayed return back from what we were committing to. I have always lived by the belief that with only 1 life to live, go for everything you can, try and impact as many people and enjoy every step of the journey... Including the challenges and risks into the unknown that will come up over the journey to your goals. We limit ourselves with what we think is possible within a certain timeframe. Try putting down things you do not think are possible and working towards those... Even if you are not sure of the "how" I want to leave this world giving it my all, risking it all and reaping the rewards it has to offer which for me personally is all about... living life on my terms surrounded by my kids and the people I love most, that inspire me to be my best and help as many people as I possibly can along the way!!:) What are you willing to risk to have what you want? #MIAJourney #riskitalltohaveitall
