20.01.2022 Sometimes our own thoughts have the sharpest words. It’s hard to be inside our own heads: A place where there are no limits to harsh words and self doubt. It’s a place that’s hard to escape especially when mental health and/or addiction is involved. Especially when we are all to stay at home. Studies have shown that those of us who feel more socially isolated generally deal with increased mental health and substance abuse issues. Many people turn to substances because they ...are lonely, or they want to turn their thoughts off. When you’re lonely, you can run out of hope. The realities of isolation and loneliness in mental health and addiction can leave people with feelings of disconnection, abandonment, left out, hopelessness, uselessness. Fear that you will always feel this way. Please reach out to your friends and neighbours, join social media groups and help those that will suffer in isolation. It could be you.

17.01.2022 We’ve been pretty quiet on the social media front while we supported our health workers, transport workers and emergency services get their learning online in the face of COVID-19. Busy and uneasy times. We at MasterE would like to extend our thanks to all those that have worked at the front line during these times. We knew it was hard work but when we have a small insight into the back end, you are all just amazing.

15.01.2022 For thousands of years, humans have used storytelling to pass on valuable lessons of the past and master essential life skills for the future. Today’s campfires are our devices. We are passionate about bringing real-world storytelling to eLearning. It helps people identify with it, translate it into the real world and remember it. Here's a great example... There was a study done on the magical science of storytelling where a journalist bought 200 items from eBay.... He then invited 200 authors to write a story about the objects. This is one of the objects. This beautiful horses head was bought for 99c and when it was sold with the story added, it sold for $62.95 that is a slight increase of 6,395%. It wasn’t a one off situation. He bought the 200 items for $129, selling them for $8000. This is the power of storytelling.
