20.01.2022 AMANDA MACDONALD Hi, I'm Amanda. I am a mother of 3, a wife, and a lover of horses. I have had horses in my life for as long as I can remember, riding my Dad's race horses as a child, and going through the pony club system. I moved back home from Darwin after having my children, I had had some time away from riding and handling horses, and Iike many others, I had lost confidence and I was searching for something to help me move forward with my horses. When I met Shane, and sa...w him starting a young horse, I had to know everything he did. I started spending as much time as I could training with him and have since learnt to communicate and work with horses in ways I had never thought possible. The method teaches the rider/handler to become a horse trainer, step by step we are given the tools to deal with every situation. Everything we do with our horses is a dance, and we become the lead dancer, always one step ahead. I have a passion for working at liberty with my horses and now start, re-start and train horses from all disciplines and breeds and run clinics along side Shane. Some people say great horseman are born, but I believe you do not need a gift. What is required is hard work and determination to achieve your goals of becoming the best horseman you can be, and a great mentor. I am testament to this method and proof that anyone of us can be great, if we have the guts and determination to learn. I love my work every day and hope I can support others like myself to work towards their goals with their horses. See more

06.01.2022 SHANE OLVER Hello, I am Shane D. Olver, I’ve been a professional Horseman since 1995; My family and I arrived in the Albany/Denmark region in 1992 having come from Broome and the Kimberley’s after 20yrs. When my family had grown, I moved to Queensland to expand my experience; I worked from the NSW border up to Noosa for 10yrs; I have worked with 1000’s of rider/handlers and their horses from all breeds and disciplines, answering all calls for help, constantly moving, working... in whatever conditions I found myself in. I start and re-start all horses, I train people and their horses in show jumping, dressage, hacking, competitive trail riding, race and ex racehorses, light horse, all of whom have marched through the streets of Brisbane and other surrounding cities and towns, camp-drafting, team penning, team sorting, cutting, trail riding through the mountains and on the beaches, float and truck loading, advanced leading etc. I have also hosted weekend camps for my students in amazing places around Noosa and the hinterlands; I also run clinics in Perth and Broome. From all of my training and experiences has emerged The Master Horseman Training Program which combines the three disciplines of Round-yarding, Ground work and Riding, all of which are identical exercises that support each other. 03.01.2022 Up early tomorrow droving 800 head across to Nebo for the draft this weekend! This is the second drove I’ve been on so far this trip! I’ve been fortunate to meet some fantastic people along the way! Looking forward to competing in the draft on the weekend. Great community over here! Shane.

Members rallied together to put on a phenomenal weekend at the KULIN BUSH RACES 2018, which was enjoyed by roughly 3500 people!! - And every year it gets bigger and better!! We had the pleasure of putting on a couple demos, Round-yarding/liberty, and cattle working. Here are a few shots sent through from the crowd, thanks for the photos!! ...
