23.01.2022 The Old Swan Brewery Did you know the brewery used to be a steam-driven mill, a convict depot, a tannery and a restaurant in 1838, before it was revamped as a brewery in 1877? The heritage site is also important in Aboriginal folklore as the resting place of the Waugyl, the Dreamtime serpent that created the Swan River. The brewery is now converted into housing and restaurants and is best seen from the water or from the Lotterywest Federation Walkway in Kings Park.

18.01.2022 Winners Circle is not your average newsagency! We wanted them to stand out with bright red neon signage, detailed with a wooden panel backing. Custom shelving throughout has been designed to showcase a multitude of products and allow easy browsing access for their customers.

17.01.2022 Check out the Kings Park Bridge Link! The colourful pedestrian link has been designed as a walkway connecting Perth Children's Hospital and Kings Park. The bridge extends over the tree canopy into Kings Park, providing a tree top walk and viewing platform for the children, their families and hospital staff. The pier structures grow from the ground to mimic the trees that line Kings Park from below creating a destination in itself and not just a method of travel between two other special destinations.

15.01.2022 Tea Macchiato offers a delicious selection of bubble teas and Euro-Asian fusion artisan bread! We designed this store to stand out from the crowd with a bright blue exterior, concrete grey and brass accents. This store even has its own selfie bench for bubble tea lovers to snap a pic!

The hair salon features a moderately open plan design, with raised partitions to section the hair booths. We had a bit of fun with the kids section, which features Mercedes Benz cars instead of standard seats.

11.01.2022 The Perth Library was designed by Kerry Hill Architects. The Council chose the initial design as they were impressed with the distinctive circular flow of the building concept and its intermittent vertical cladding, as well as its orientation to natural light.

09.01.2022 Did you know the arches over the Matagarup bridge can appear as black and white swans, or the Wagyl, and symbolise a coming together of diverse cultures. Feature lighting on the arches illuminates the bridge every night of the year.

08.01.2022 Building a business like Masterplanners has been challenging & satisfying. It has led to some long term special client relationships & I thank them for their loyalty & long term support. Having my daughter Suzie as GM for 10 years & latterly my son Jeremy in the same role & my grandson Harlee as an apprentice has been very rewarding. We have over the years employed so many wonderful people who have contributed to our longevity. As current Chair of ASOFIA (changing to IFA) I have made life long friends in the industry & we have supported each other in good times & bad. 40 years ago when my late husband Neil & I were beginning this journey, I could not have known what a rewarding experience this would be.

05.01.2022 Council House was designed by two young Melbourne architects - Jeffrey Howlett and Donald Bailey - who were awarded the commission after a nationwide design competition. The walls consist of floor-to-ceiling double-glazed sealed windows in aluminium frames. One of the most distinctive elements of the building is the pattern of T-shaped sunshades placed uniformly against the four walls.

05.01.2022 Did you know there is no such thing as a bad seat at the Optus Stadium? Every seat has been designed to be wider with its own cup holder and has a full view of the ground of play for an AFL game. The stadium also boasts two of the largest Super Screens in Australia!

04.01.2022 Commemorating Australia's bicentenary in 1988, the twelve bells of St Martin-in-the-Fields as well as five especially cast bells were presented to the University of Western Australia, the City of Perth and to the people of Western Australia. The Bell Tower is a cultural icon with enduring authenticity, where bells and clocks from all over the world, from all through the ages, have been carefully restored, preserved, interpreted and are now celebrated by visitors daily.

03.01.2022 State Buildings 1874 Over their 140-year history, the State Buildings have been used as Public Offices, a Police Court and cellblock, Treasury, Survey Department, GPO, Immigration Offices, office of the Premier and Cabinet, Lands Department and Titles Building.

Design & Built by us, incorporating a new shopfront consisting of venetian polished plaster, gold window frames and entry. The celestial custom sunrise doorhandle is one of the finishing touches to this fit out and reflects Fatimas brand identity.

01.01.2022 The Paganin House in Floreat is an iconic home designed by Iwan Iwanoff. The Bulgarian-born architect who emigrated to Australia in 1950, designed the home as a beacon of postwar design, amid Perth’s suburban architecture. It tragically burnt down before Christmas 2015, however the owners Tim Bult and Lisa Church restored it with the help of Tim Wright Architecture.
