16.01.2022 Hockey Australia's National Men's Masters Championship will be held at Hobart's Tasmanian Hockey Centre from 23 September - 7 October. At the moment the Hocke...y Tasmania's management and organising Committee are looking at around 90 teams attending from 035 to 075 age groups with all States and Territories represented. The logistics of the tournament indicate on some days the 3 wet synthetic pitches will be in operation from 9:00am until 10:30pm with up to 30 matches scheduled per day. 90 teams equates to in excess of 1,400 competitors, plus support staff, family and friends, so expect over 2,500 visitors to town over the fortnight! The umpires manager suggests the umpiring panel will consist of around 45-50 umpires to manage the number of matches anticipated. The THC will definitely be humming over the fortnight! See more

10.01.2022 Selection night last night. Well done to all who turned up 3 matches going on over the three turfs under the lights was a great sight. Thanks to Jackson, Ben, Aaron, Matt and Harry for umpiring and Paul and the Kitchen and bar crew for turning it on (get used to it - it will be much busier over September-October) The selectors will now consider the nominations and teams will be posted on the Hockey Tas website by 30 June.
