25.01.2022 Invasive termite inspection. Earlier in the week we did a visual termite inspection and found possible signs of termite activity in an inaccessible area. We recommend an invasive termite inspection as it looked very suspicious. This involved jack hammering bricks out to access. The kicker to this story that only 1 month ago they purchased the property and the inspector said it looked fine and only some old activity found. Pictures below will show the story. Access made and heavy active termite activity entering the house and lots of damaged timber. Picture of termites in the timber.

17.01.2022 Very happy with todays follow up inspection. Back story is owners found termites and instead of calling professionals straight away they proceeded to remove plasterboard and remove workings and who knows what else as you can see from pics. When we arrived most termites had retreated but we found a timber with some activity. We decided to try and bait them as this is the only true method of knowing 100 percent colony eradication. We returned today a few weeks later. As you can see from the pictures both bait stations consumed!!! Amazing result. Refilled and back in a few weeks. Bring on 2019

16.01.2022 Interesting thing when we quote work weather it be termites, general pest or pre-construction. Good service, knowledge and quality material is what you pay for. If you receive a price that is a lot cheaper then a competitor something has to give? Especially if using same product? I always say you pay for what you get. Perfect example below. We did a pre-construction physical termite barrier for a high end builder. Next door was a cheap project builder. Termite barriers have to be continuous with no breaks, holes and no unsealed joints. Below you will see ours and also example of other companies poor work and no care attitude or possibly no clue! The first 4 pics ours and the rest from the other poor example of an installer.

16.01.2022 Busy time of the year so not much time to post. This one is a good one for home owners who find termites. DO NOT DISTURB them. Call the experts. This home owner poured thinners all over the workings/sub nest. When we got there all termites were dead or retreated. We thought we would try find some active ones and see if baiting was possible. We removed some plaster board and found some live ones in a timber near bye. We baited with Termatrix bait and they took first hit!! Very lucky home owners. Now baiting for the next few months till full eradication.

05.01.2022 Termite barrier in progress, when installing barrier through concrete you must use a slab injector fitting with flow meters. Slab injector allows chemical to get under the concrete thoroughly and the flow meter shows us how much chemical we have injected under the slab. We have seen many companies and so called pest controllers do this incorrectly,not using the correct equipment which will make the barrier ineffective.

05.01.2022 Pre-construction termite barrier. New generation ant capping for bearer and joist construction. Replaces old galvanised system with this new setup, impregnated with termiticide to kill and repell termites. We used this on the block work also in conjunction with home guard underlay for back filled walls. Great set up for this home, builder and owner can sleep at night knowing the house was done right!
