22.01.2022 REMINDER TO QMA THROWERS AMA VIRTUAL WINTER THROWS COMPETITION: Registrations are still open until midnight on Wed Sep 30th for our Virtual Winter Throws competition, for those who can't make it to Wollongong for the real event this year. We also have some great merchandise available this year, which you can add to your registration, and we'll post it out to you: Cost: Registration fee is $20, with no additional event fees... 2 participation categories: Category CLUB - compete at an official venue, with officials present Category SOLO - compete at a park or similar, with no one else present Results to submit should be from throws made between Friday Oct 2 to Monday Oct 5, and need to be submitted by midnight AEDST Monday Oct 5. 21.01.2022 ATTENTION! Members attending the QMA competition at the SAF track on Saturday morning. Please check important information on this map. ENTRY and EXIT thru the small gate near the canteen building. STOP at sign-in and sanitiser station on your left - EVERYBODY must sign-in here - athletes, accompanying persons (including children) and all volunteers. If you have not pre-entered, entry sheets (the pink and blue ones) will be located at the next table. Then enter the WHITE BUILDING as indicated to pay ground fees. Please have correct money ($10) and observe distancing markers. EXIT via the other door. THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION.

17.01.2022 LOST PROPERTY! WORKING BEE! TRASH AND TREASURE! Several QMA members assisted with a working bee in the Clubhouse and equipment shed today. Both are now looking somewhat tidier. As a follow-up, this Saturday at the competition at the SAF there will be a table with LOST PROPERTY collected over the past couple of years. If you lost something, please have a look. If you will not be there, send a description of your lost object and we might find it. ALSO there will be a 'TRASH AND TREASURE' table where for a small donation you can take some surplus stuff. Anything left after Saturday will go to a charity or be binned.

17.01.2022 In Brisbane we missed out on the fun run on the new runway (scheduled for June (?) but cancelled because of the pandemic). But these athletes got to have a fun run on Launceston Airport runway on Sunday. Wish I had been there!
