17.01.2022 Hi Business Owners. Backups! Do you have your critical data backed up? ... Email, accounting, documents, photos, videos, sensitive client data? Is your sensitive data encrypted and password protected? Are your backups stored off site? What will you lose if your premises are destroyed and your pc's, laptops and devices are all stolen? What will it cost in down time? What information can't you afford to lose permanently? The above questions are often not realised until its too late and hard earned business information is lost forever. Take 5 minutes to think about those questions and estimate cost of losing everything if you don't have a backup to cover the worst case scenario. With the increasing popularity and convenience of the cloud the following fact still remains: The cloud and your internet connection to it is not 100% reliable. The cloud is fantastic for business but if your information is on the cloud you should still have your own local backup copy to be stored safely where you have direct access to it.
