Seen as a fundamental basic skill, as parents we often assume that our kids will eventually read, but unfortunately not all students do and many fall below their peers. Dr Jennifer Buckingham wrote in this weekend’s Australian the seriousness of the problem across Australia and is well worth a read. At Mastery Schools Australia, proficiency in Reading is a core outcome for the students that attend. 09.01.2022 Seeking accreditation to open 2021! We are a new concept special assistance Middle School that caters for students from Year 4 to Year 9. Our vision is to assist students who are disengaged due to learning difficulties or academic stress, to reach their full potential. We are excited about the contribution Mastery Schools Australia will make to the lives of students and families as the first Special Assistance Middle School on the Gold Coast. Our goal is to provide many students with the specialised academic and social emotional support to help them thrive in the future. Mastery Schools Australia (MSA) will open its first campus in 2021 and will provide targeted, high quality learning for middle school aged (Year 4 - Year 9) students who are academically falling behind so they can rejoin mainstream education.
