16.01.2022 Who knew there were so many words for good and bad!!?? Well done to the Lizards who took out the vocabulary writing challenge this morning! Even our teachers learnt a few new words!

15.01.2022 Hi families, just a reminder tomorrow and Friday we are all heading down to the sport and rec grounds for the annual ICPA sports days. Parents please drop students to the grounds by 8am and collect at 3pm tomorrow. On Friday students will only need to be dropped to the grounds in the morning and then collected as normal from school Friday afternoon. Don’t forget hats, water bottles and sunscreen!

12.01.2022 Hi families, hope you are all enjoying the break and the lovely weather we’re having! BMD construction company will be completing the rebuilding of our garden shade Wednesday and Thursday. To say thank you for the donation of materials and labor, there will be a thank you BBQ on Thursday 12:00pm. If anyone is around and able to pop down to say thanks, please do!

11.01.2022 Our middle years students are building a vertical garden this week as part of their STEM intensive, can’t wait to see the finished product!

08.01.2022 In 2021 Mataranka School is getting wattle seeds that will have spent 6 months in space!!! On Sunday the 6th December you can watch the seeds head into space live!!!

01.01.2022 Mataranka students made us all feel pretty proud today with their hard work washing cars for three hours straight! Thanks to these awesome students and their amazing parents, Mataranka School staff and Repco Katherine! Thanks to the Mataranka community for your support! We managed to raise $533.45 for the 2021 grade 5/6 camp, well done everyone!
