23.01.2022 Refereed at the IBSF World U21 snooker, Jinan China, Jul 3-11 and met some truly awesome people. Best of all, Alice Wu (from Matchroom of course) was upgraded to a Class 2 referee prior to doing the Womens final. Proud of you. And not forgetting her room mate Tsvetelina Minkova & fellow Bulgarian referee Ivajlo Ivanov with whom we shared many meals and beers together. Last but not least, all the other international and Mainland Chinese referees (and referee assessors, officials and volunteers) with whom the tournament couldnt do without. Unforgettable memories indeed.

22.01.2022 Patrick Wang, winner of the 2017 Qld Masters Snooker. Great effort in defeating John Osterman, Regan Williams, Anish Solanki, Paul Asher & James Gibson in the final, 3-1. Gibson had the highest break of 70, and a 54 in the same frame against David Cooper in the 1st round. Other semi finalists were Paul Asher and Chee Kiat Yap, and quarter finalist Ian Lee, Anish Solanki, Jim Wicks and Tony Dragon Lord Cheng. Thanks to all the referees who put in the hard yards and special mention to Trevor Mortimer (vice TD, referee and player, all in one). Last but not least, heaters were recently fitted onto all snooker tables at Matchroom. No more humid conditions. YEAHHHHH......
