25.01.2022 Today we celebrate Mercy Day, the anniversary of the day on which the founder of the Sisters of Mercy, Catherine McAuley, established the House of Mercy in Baggot Street, Dublin in 1827. Mercy Day is a time for us to pause and reflect on the true meaning of mercy. Each interaction, whether with a colleague or patient, presents an opportunity to demonstrate mercy in action and continue the traditions of the Sisters of Mercy.
