22.01.2022 Today our Year 12 Human Biology ATAR, Year 12 Psychology ATAR and Year 11 Biology ATAR students had the opportunity to visit Perth Zoo to reinforce syllabus content in each of the three subjects. The Psychology students attended a HISS-TERIA lesson that discusses how animals are conditioned at the zoo to ensure they can perform specific behaviours when required. The Human Biology students observed a number of different primates to reinforce the features that are used to cl...assify these organisms and the trends across the order. The Biology students studied various plant and animal adaptations, classification and conservation. All the students had a great day and took full advantage of the opportunity to put the theory they have learned in the classroom into a real life situation. We also helped our Head Girl, Caitlin Barnard celebrate her 18th birthday with some cake and muffins! See more
