21.01.2022 MATESHIP MATTERS UPDATE: "Over the past fortnight I have been so proud of the Moreton Bay United community which, in the face of some challenging times, has stu...ck together and once again showed the true #togtherasone spirit. "There is no doubt that 2020 has been for many, the most challenging period in their lives with many MBU members, families and friends suffering various forms of hardship through circumstances out of their control. "Moreton Bay United is proud to announce that we have formed a relationship with Mateship Matters which offers programs to raise awareness around mental health and well being, helping all members of our community to identify any family members or friends who may be struggling with aspects of their life and gain an insight into strategies to help those people. "This relationship will provide an opportunity for any person aged 15 and over attend free information sessions to be conducted at our Brendale clubhouse by qualified personnel from Mateship Matters with the ability to connect our members to individual counsellors to discuss any troubling matters in their life. "These meetings are conducted in a friendly and non-obtrusive forum with the opportunity to request one-on-one sessions with qualified counsellors if you feel that is required. "There will be several members of the Moreton Bay united Board present at the initial information session as support for any community member. "Our first presentation is on Monday at 7pm in the clubhouse at South Pine Sports Complex, Brendale. Ben Parkin Chairman, Moreton Bay United
