Mates Vision organises this event annually in order to bring our community together for a good cause. Our story began in 2013 when a group of mates decided to do their part to break the cycle of poverty on a personal level. With the vision of promoting self-sustainability and empowerment by providing support directly to those most in need, Mates Vision was formed.... To date, Mates vision has assisted thousands of individuals facing financial hardship, including widows and orphans, as well as providing funding to fulfill the educational needs of underprivileged students. In addition, as an organization, we have assisted with emergency appeals. As a non-profit organization, our volunteers aim to support individuals or groups in need, regardless of race, religion, or nationality. 14.01.2022 ‘Mates Vision Australia Incorporated’ is a Melbourne based Humanitarian organisation, established in April 2013. This Not for Profit Organisation was originally initiated to focus only on the financial needs of orphans and students in Sri Lanka. Due to the establishment and growth of the organisation over the past few years, our projects and objectives have also grown. Our overall objectives are to provide humanitarian aid (such as food, clothing, medical aid, emergency shelt...er) as the need arises, to provide education for underprivileged children, and to support widows in need of financial aid. Responding to humanitarian emergencies, helping orphans and the homeless are also part of our primary objectives.
