21.01.2022 #BREAKING Your council rates are going to go up in one big hit because of this governments forced council amalgamations. The State Government’s proposed rate ha...rmonisation would see council rates across the inner west, particularly in Marrickville, Hurlstone Park and Ashbury increase by hundreds of dollars a year in one hit. Even four years since forced council amalgamations, we are still being hurt by this decision. Shelley Hancock MP must immediately take action to allow our councils to reduce the financial impact of this state government forced raise, during the worst health and economic crisis in memory.

01.01.2022 Residents in Marrickville will have noticed that we’ve recently revitalised HJ Mahoney Reserve. A new multipurpose court and skate facility, street art, picnic ...shelters and native trees are all part of the upgrade. Due to COVID restrictions we weren't able to invite the community down to celebrate the opening with a BBQ, get down there to check it out and let a friend know who’ll enjoy the news facilities
