04.01.2022 Hi guys! It has been a while has it not?, anyway I am now back with a new Blog Post which is a Podcast with former AFL, now current SANFL player Emmanuel Irra. Hope you all enjoy and there will be a lot more interviews and podcasts just like this one in the future. http://matho.sport.blog/2020/07/17/podcasts/

03.01.2022 "Life's a climb but the view is great". 2019 has a been a year that has had its challenges and it's obstacles but I have still been able to somehow find a way (or ways) to overcome and push through the struggles i was faced with, for example, I officially started my first year at University. I became close friends with a wonderful group of people from univeristy and despite the early struggles with coping with the workload and time management etc, my friends and I were able ...to successfully complete our first year of uni. This year, as part of one of my assignments during second semester, I decided to create a blog, which is titled Mental Health in Sport with Matho (nice plug), go check it out. While I was interviewing sports people with mental health, as someone who struggles with mental health myself, I soon learned alot more about the struggles and challenges that are presented to you. The most important thing about mental health, especially in men, that I learnt, is that no matter how many sports people I interview, whilst everyones story/journey is different, there is one thing that remains the same for everybody: "There is always a way to get help, you just have to go out there and find it". As this year, and decade are rapidly coming to an end, I have learnt a lot about myself, especially this year, as I have reached new heights, so to speak, I have a few words of wisdom for y'all. If you find yourselves struggling with whatever it may be, uni, work, life in general, just rememeber although at first everything will be a challenge, it will get easier, trust me, it may just take time. Here's to a great 2020 and beyond. Thank you all for coming to my TEDTalk and I would just like to wish each and every single one of you reading this a happy new year and hope that the year 2020 is a great one. Matho x
