24.01.2022 It’s that time of year again... Change your clocks change your smoke alarm battery’s. Only working smoke alarms save life’s. Did you know smoke alarms only have a 10 year life span??? When you change your battery’s make sure you test your smoke alarm and also make sure your smoke alarm is still in date. Don’t hesitate to get in contact with us if you have any concerns about your smoke alarms or would like to get them replaced.

21.01.2022 We have decided the time has come to make the tough decision to limit our services moving forward until further notice. All though we understand this may be an inconvenience to some, and is not a decision we have made lightly as it will also effect us & our business, we think this is a necessary step to help combat Covid. Moving forward our services will be limited to the following: Emergency, Maintenance(repairs of existing installations) Safety (switchboards, smoke alarms ...etc) or anything considered essential like heating & cooking etc. For now this means we won’t be undertaking works we consider non-essential, like installing power points, ceiling fans and so on which are considered as wants not needs. We will endeavor to finish off any job we have started if safe to do so. We will also be limiting contact in regards to unnecessary quoting during this time unless it is required in relation to one of the above limited services. We also ask you to make sure social distancing practices are used when we attend as will we & also advise us if anyone has been sick, overseas or in contact prior to engaging our services. We once again apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but feel we need to start getting serious about this virus before its to late. These services may become further restricted down the path as the government roles out stages but we will keep you updated if anything changes. Thank you to all our wonderful customers. See more

19.01.2022 Good Evening. It’s being a while since I have posted so I thought I would give all our wonderful customers an update. We hope everyone is doing as well as possible and keeping safe. We have been grateful to still be here servicing our local community through these times and in the last few months being fortunate enough to be able to employee another local sparky casually to help service more people as well as help out some local schools with yr 10 work Experiance and year 11 ...VCAL placements. We also look forwarded to welcoming back our holiday residence and being able to service their needs with face to face from the 9/11. A quick reminder as we are staring to head into our busy period/pre Christmas rush please don’t delay getting in contact for any electrical need you may have to avoid disappointment as history has shown that we book up fast from Mid-Late November onwards. We are taking a short 4 day family break over the Cup weekend and then will be hear to service any need right through to Christmas. Thanks again for all your loyalty past and present. We hope you all enjoy the cup weekend and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

19.01.2022 Hi All. As we all know today is Good Friday. This year is also a millstone year marking 150years of the Royal Children’s Hospital. We are certainty in trying times but If anyone one can donate big or small any amount always helps. Unfortunately the Wonthaggi CFA was unable to collect this year but we have created a virtual money tin through the Good Friday Appeal which people can donate.

19.01.2022 Mains upgrade we completed yesterday combined with a couple of aircons. The job proved difficult with a flat tin roof combined with flat head roofing screws and multi story in hot conditions, but persistence combined with help from amazing crew/staff got the job completed. This customer not only has 2 aircons wired ready for summer but now the added safety of new mains, mains limiting & safety switch protection. 17.01.2022 URGENT MESSAGE FOR ACTION BY ALL CITIZENS; Please share, comment and add your support. From the amount of social media posts regarding people at the beach, an i...nflux of tourists, social gatherings and so forth it is abundantly clear that a great many people are not going to take this pandemic seriously. I urge everyone to email, phone and petition our local and federal government to support an immediate LOCKDOWN. There is no point in trying to balance the risk to people’s health and the risk to the economy. The Government must take immediate action to protect the health and mental well being of the people. There is absolutely no point in trying to keep parts of the economy dragging out the inevitable. They only risk spreading COVID19 further, causing more deaths and the pandemic to be prolonged. Preservation of life is paramount. If the Government is so concerned about the economic ramifications, they should consider the long game. Dead people cannot spend money, or work, or help rebuild the economy. Sick people will be a huge burden to the economy and the health care sector. 15.01.2022 Do you still have halogen downlights? Do your find your currently using your downlights more due to being home or as it gets darker earlier? Have you considered upgrading them to LED? 05.01.2022 We currently will not be taking bookings for jobs in holiday homes/non primary residence from people in lockdown zones until the lock down is lifted unless the job is in relation to and urgent safety issue or access can be given to the property without the owner attending(key safe etc). We hate to take this approach, and all though this may inconvenience some it appears the area is being flooded with people not following the rules. The rules are very clear and with a young family and a wife that works in Health care we need to look after both our family and our local community. I would like to also urge and hope other local business are also following suit as per the guidelines.

05.01.2022 Smoke alarms must be replaced every ten years. Replacing the unit with a lithium battery powered alarm means you won’t need to change the battery for the life of the alarm!

04.01.2022 Just installed a hand sanitiser station in the ute to help protect our customers, family and of course our selves. Also saves on the wasted/spilt sanitiser from originally pouring it in our hands

03.01.2022 We are still open for business. We are still taking this virus very serious though. If you or anyone in your household is sick or has recently been sick we ask that you please advise us ASAP & reschedule your appointments to a later day, especially if it is not emergency works. As we travel from property to property we do not want to risk our other customers let alone our own families. I would also like to take the opportunity for you all to think about all the small businesses that have been affected by the new rules. They are our friends and local communities and lets all try to support them in anyway we can especially if they are still able to offer take away services.
