19.01.2022 Had the opportunity to mill a couple of nice big Cypress logs last week. One maxed out the length I can mill at 6 meters long. We cut some really nice posts and rails for a fencing project and a few bits left over for garden edges. Not bad for what would have been used as a bonfire! If you have logs like this lying around, you could get it milled. Easily over $1500 worth of timber. Worth the effort for sure.

18.01.2022 Just spent the day milling up some glorious red gum logs in Apsley. What otherwise would have been cut and split for firewood can now be used for building projects around the house and farm. Another happy Chappy!

14.01.2022 Got some nice coffee table sized slabs out of this log and various sized timber posts. Plus I cut my biggest slab today, 2.8 m long x 1.2 m wide for a customer. It’s amazing to see what this machine can do.

11.01.2022 Just went to Hynam and cut some building timber and slabs out of a few red gum logs on a property. I think they were happy with the results.

My parter Cindy Cross and I, having drooled over Lucas Mills for some time now, have just purchased our own and we are excited to now offer our mobile saw milling and slabbing across the South East and Western Victoria. This is a portable saw mill, capable of milling dimensional timber for fence posts, rails, or home building projects. It also does slabs 1.3 m wide x 5 m long. 01.01.2022 Just spent a day and a half slabbing some Eucalyptus botryoides (bastard gum). Needed to keep the chain sharp but the end result is well worth it! Another happy customer.
