25.01.2022 Do you love cupping, but not fond of the cupping marks? I am now using heart-shaped cups... that leave heart shaped marks! So far, patients that received these cups really love their joyful marks. Cupping helps to release tight muscles, as well as detoxify the body, by pulling toxins to the surface. Please note that not all cupping leaves marks (only really tight stagnant areas), and it does not hurt either!

23.01.2022 Today I celebrate 10 years of working as an Acupuncturist, graduating on 18 March 2011, at the age of 40, fulfilling a life long dream of becoming an acupuncturist. Since then, I completed over 15,000 treatments, involving acupuncture, zen shiatsu, or remedial massage - or a combination. Today I...... * Graduated with a Diploma of Remedial Massage 30 years ago. * Began studying Zen Shiatsu 30 years ago, as well as Okido Yoga. * Became a Zen Shiatsu practitioner 12 years ago. * Graduated as a Yoga Teacher 7 years ago, and taught over 700 classes. * Began working at Alchmey in Bellingen 12 years ago * Opened a Community Acupuncture and Shiatsu Clinic with two other practitioners 11 years ago and ran it every Wednesday ever since. * Became a Trainer and Assessor 10 years ago * 10 years ago I became a Karate instructor for three years after 10 years of martial arts training * Taught a Diploma course for Remedial Massage and a Diploma course for Zen Shiatsu for three years * Taught First Aid courses for 8 years - over 1,000 classes So lucky to be guided by some extraordinary, gifted professional teachers. My teachers are also each person that comes to me for a treatment, as I learn so much from every person. I feel so privileged to hear each person’s story, and understand how this story manifests in their body and mind to become a health issue they want help with. Thank you to all my teachers.
