24.01.2022 I was desperately ill today, but got a chance to reply to an atheist's challenge to the gospel. I know it's long, but I'm so pleased with how it came out that I wanted to share it with folks. If you're a believer, can I encourage you to pray for Jay: the prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective. -----...Continue reading

24.01.2022 'My wife absolutely lost it when our baby laughed for the first time'

23.01.2022 Just fascinating to watch.

21.01.2022 Is it just ego if your own writing can bring you to tears? The script I'm writing for Aaron Kamp has some dialog that I'm especially proud of; just saying.

20.01.2022 I love when I'm writing my heroine and put her into a terrible situation and, just as I'm thinking how she might respond, the strongest thought I get is "Well she's not going to just sit there and take it, that's for sure."

19.01.2022 I've never had much time for the NRA in the past. I've mostly seen them as corporate shills, protecting the manufacturers. But this is the right thing for them to do - credit where credit is due.

18.01.2022 This is awesome.

17.01.2022 I have officially not come in first as a parent. This is awesome.

16.01.2022 Just got feedback from the Wishing Shelf book competition that I entered. The break down was pretty encouraging: Star Rating: 5 Stars Number of Readers: 17 Stats Editing: 7/10 ... Writing Style: 7/10 Content: 9/10 Cover: 9/10 Of the 17 readers: 16 would read another book by this author. 16 thought the cover was good or excellent. 17 felt it was easy to follow. 16 would recommend this story to another reader to try. 13 felt the author’s strongest skill was ‘plotting a story’. 4 felt the author’s strongest skill was ‘developing the characters’. 15 felt the pacing was good or excellent. 16 thought the author understood the readership and what they wanted. That's some encouraging feedback.

14.01.2022 Loving this one!

12.01.2022 I just got my first review on Amazon.com. 4 stars - oh yeah!!!

10.01.2022 I needed a medieval insult for a woman raised to the nobility. Settled on "slattern's brood". "Did he just call my mother a slut?" I want my villains to be despicable, but sometimes they're just scum. I felt odd even typing the words.

10.01.2022 Tonight an important Christmas tradition: the happy fable of the Nakatome building and how a New York cop saved Christmas from terrorists. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TQ-pOvI6Xo

07.01.2022 Well this messes with another part of my childhood.

03.01.2022 Someone sent me this link this morning. I've tried to keep silent on the plebiscite, but it's becoming more difficult.https://www.spectator.com.au//whats-changed-in-britain-si/
