25.01.2022 I need to let you all know that I unfortunately may not be posting on my page for a little while. Today has been the worst and darkest day of my career. I'm writing this with a heavy heart to let you know, as of today I've been given the heartbreaking news that I will be Stood Down effective immediately with Flight Centre just like many of my colleagues who have become like an extended family.... Flight Centre have been an amazing company to work for and I have had some of the best experiences during my time with them that I'll be able to look back on with happiness in my heart. I have been lucky enough to meet some of the most amazing people, both colleagues and clients, that have become life long friends that I'll always be able to cherish. I will be going into this break with my head held high being proud of how I've been able prove my worth to my clients during a time they have well and truly needed my support. My focus will be with my beautiful wife who is suffering through the same heartbreaking news herself. You are my absolute rock, you are the one that keeps me strong and you help keep me moving forward. I'll also be focusing on our fur babies who of course will most likely be loving the news that we will be home more often to provide cuddles and snacks. This pain is only temporary and once this virus is gone, I WILL be back ready to absolute dominate the travel industry with the Flight Centre Elizabeth team again and will be stronger from this experience. For those of you who have bookings with me, please do not stress. Flight Centre Elizabeth is still business as usual and my amazing family will be taking over for me until I've returned. If you have concerns about anything, please feel free to contact the Elizabeth team on 08 8307 4033, I'll also still be here, happy to provide assistance anywhere I can despite being on an unexpected break. Thank you to all of our customers, you are the reason why I love this job and you are the reason why I have my role to go back to once this virus has cleared up! 24.01.2022 To my valued clients and friends, I understand that there is a large amount of uncertainty and fear around COVID19 and what that means for the health of you and your loved ones as well as for any travel plans you may have booked or be thinking about booking. My heart goes out to all those affected at this time as it has been a very soul destroying week for myself personally.... I realise there are a lot of questions you may have around existing or future bookings and I'm more than prepared to answer them for you.
