Called ‘l’arbre blanc’, a name that translates as ‘the white tree’, the tower’s balconies and terraces appear as branches allowing residents to maximize time spent outdoors. 01.01.2022 Meet Fionn Ferreira the teen science star using magnetic liquid to remove microplastics from water. He developed a technique to remove microplastics from water using magnets. His project won at the 2019 Google Science Fair. Studies estimate the ocean is contaminated by as many as 8.3 million pieces of microplastic per cubic metre of water. These are dangerous to marine life and may have consequences for human health.
