25.01.2022 ITS TIME!!!! After a super strange couple of months Its time to get Ready for the upcoming MF Australian Championships and we cannot WAIT. The MF Championships provides a unique experience for students from around all over QLD and NSW to come together and compete in a fair and friendly atmosphere, to share skills and knowledge, to establish new friendships! Come and join us on October 17th for our Annual Australian Championships, and experience for yourself martial spirit and... some serious fun! These Championships will be held at Pacific Paradise state school Hall and a timetable of the day will be bought out closer to the day and sent out to all competitors. 20.01.2022 Covid Safe Plan Matt Fiddes Martial Arts Gladstone 1. Anyone showing any signs of sickness should stay at home as will not be allowed entry. 2. We will be taking temperature checks and anyone with an initial temperature check of 37.4o or over will be asked to retest in 5 mins. If the temperature remains over 37.4 o they will not be allowed entry. 3. We are limited to 20 people in the Dojo at any one time. Parents are to remain outside. ... 4. Students are to wash/ sanitise their hands prior to class. 5. We will continue the social distancing of 1.5m 6. There will be no contact and sparring and grappling will be held off until further notice. 7. Any work involving kick shields, focus mitts, kick paddles will require students to have their sparring gear on to eliminate contact. These items will be sanitised after each class. 8. Students will be asked to wait with parents until the instructors call them to enter the Dojo. The following class will not be allowed entry until the previous class has finished and vacated the Dojo. 9. Students will be asked to bring a towel to wipe off any excess sweat during the training session. See more

16.01.2022 Whilst we were hoping to continue our physical classes for this week due to the new government regulations we are going to bring our online classes forward. All classes will be via the Zoom Platform, www.zoom.us, I would suggest downloading to your device. Exciting times ahead with our first online live classes tomorrow afternoon. Please note there is a slight amendment to some of the class times, check the app for class times. Not only will you be able to train with us as ...normal (online normal ) you will able to access all other instructors and train with them as well. How exciting not to mention the complete online courses that have now been opened to you. Check the calendar in the Matt Fiddes app for codes to join the online classes. You can use Zoom on phone, tablet, laptop or Smart TV. We recommend the larger the screen the better, personally I connect my laptop to my TV. However we have been seriously hard at work to enable the upmost best experience to all our amazing students through these difficult times. We are so excited to announce that from next week we will have all our classes fully active but in an online environment. Not only will you be able to train with us as normal (online normal ) you will able to access all other instructors and train with them as well.
