21.01.2022 NRL Rebrand Series - North Queensland Toyota Cowboys I wanted to completely move away from the Horns and Star for this rebrand, and decided to go for a horseshoe that doubles as a C for Cowboys. The wordmark is a simple NQ to remove the long 'North Queensland Cowboys' wordmark. This was inspired by the Queensland Maroons who have recently returned to a similar font. The jerseys were inspired by the history of the club. I used a lighter shade of blue for the logo and home j...ersey, and the current darker shade for the away kit. Let me know what you think! MattHainesSport and MHS Teamwear were created to allow sporting organisations of all sizes and wealth the ability to access high quality design services and clothing products. With current uncertainties in the sporting world and the financial pressures that come with that, I encourage anyone to reach out to me to discuss any projects you had in mind and I will do my very best to work within your budget. 17.01.2022 NRL - National Rugby League Rebrand Series - Newcastle Knights I decided to keep the logo facing right, I didn't love the real change of logo at first, but it has grown on me to the point that it felt wrong to have the Knight facing left again. I incorporated more black into the logo, to enable it to be used in the jersey colour schemes. The wordmark remains unchanged from the actual wordmark, the thickness worked really well with my new Knight. '88' becomes the official s...econdary logo in this rebrand, using a medieval font. The jerseys were inspired by the Knights previous court jester mascot, using a harlequin pattern and subtle chequer paying homage to the 1997 champions. The customised number font reflects the '88' logo's medieval font. Let me know what you think! 03.01.2022 NRL Rebrand Series - South Sydney Rabbitohs The current Rabbitohs logo is the most iconic Australian sporting brand, so when I started this rebrand, I knew I wanted to avoid trying to change the Rabbit as the primary logo. Instead I decided to rename the club South Sydney RLFC, and use an SS1908 monogram as the primary logo. I created a Rabbit head to act as the secondary logo. I kept the home jersey traditional, with more subtle white panelling than previous years. The aw...ay jersey is a new design that is predominantly white to contrast from the home jersey.
