It's been a big year for humanity, and through it all Movember's mission has stayed the same: stop men dying too young. Think about this: globally, men die 6 years earlier than women. To make it worse, the reasons are largely preventable. In Australia, 3 out of 4 suicides are men. 1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer before 85. Essential Criteria Office administration experience in a Medical/Allied Health practice Experience in welcoming patients and booking appointments Solid skills and experience with invoicing, CTG, DVA, Medicare, HICAPS, PHN, liaison and handling patient fee queries Good typing skills, familiarity with medical terminology Effective communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills Computer skills and experience with PPMP (or similar) practice management software Self-motivated, enthusiastic, confident in your abilities to work independently and in a team Passionate and enthusiastic about patient care, with a high standard of work values and ethics Show initiative and work autonomously Show attention to detail Experience in managing stock and stationery Experience in maintaining and managing (EOM) reconciliations, funding invoices & statistics, patient recalls, DVA claims, payroll, etc Experience in the health industry is preferred.
