We invite you to look for opportunities where you can include intentional acts of kindness into your daily routine. Simple, intentional acts of kindness lift all our spirits. Not just today, but every day, let us #makekindnessthenorm. For inspiration on how we can make the kindness the norm, please visit: https://www.randomactsofkindness.org/world-kindness-day

14.01.2022 STATE-WIDE COMMITMENT TO ZERO PERCENT FEE INCREASES IN 2021. Executive Director Dr Debra Sayce has confirmed there will be no increase in tuition fees in 2021 a...t CEWA-owned schools throughout the State. Western Australians have come together to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic and we are very grateful to Government for their continued support of Catholic Education in Western Australia. Now we are working together to deal with the impacts resulting from the virus. Our schools have reported that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many parents and caregivers have lost their jobs or had their hours cut, making it difficult for some families to make ends meet. Catholic Education understands the need for families to have certainty and stability. That is why Western Australian Catholic schools are providing families with the assurance that fees wont rise in 2021. While 14 non-diocesan Catholic schools have the autonomy to set their own fees, these schools share a commitment to minimising the impact of COVID-19 in their communities. 11.01.2022 EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S END-OF-YEAR MESSAGE. Dear colleagues, parents, and all members of our Catholic school communities, The end of the year, and the season of A...dvent, is traditionally a time for reflection and renewal, a time to seek peace, to rediscover hope and to express our gratitude and love. In Catholic education, I have come to learn that gratitude grows from the bonds we create as we serve faithfully. And it comes from being part of a community serving a common purpose. We are fortunate to have 11,000 incredible people in our CEWA staff community all dedicated to providing safe, caring learning environments for the 77,000 students who enter our school gates each day. This year, it goes without saying, has been shaped by extraordinary events. Our staff, parents and broader communities have demonstrated the tremendous resilience and creativity of the human spirit, the collective strength of belonging and the significance of gratitude. These are the people who pivoted an entire system of education advancing how and where learning is delivered, coordinating care and support for the most vulnerable in our communities, demonstrating love and gratitude on a level we could never imagine. And, most importantly of all, in the midst of relentless change, providing certainty and stability. In reflecting on the extraordinary challenges facing Principals, staff, parents and students through the course of 2020, it is a unique privilege that schools in WA have been spared the widespread learning disruptions we have observed elsewhere. ... continue reading: https://news.cewa.edu.au/executive-directors-end-of-year-m/
