18.01.2022 Dear Potential Math Tutoring Clients, With the academic year winding down quickly, I am not taking on any new clients in 2019, partially also due to being sick for an extended period of time. However, mid way through January 2020 I will reacquaint myself with clients I have put on hold, and potentially take some more new clients as the school year commences.... If you would like to get in touch before the year ends, I am happy to take down your contact details and the course your child is undertaking. In doing so, I will return the call the second week of January to organise a regular weekly slot for you or your child. It's a first in, best dressed scenario. 15.01.2022 Happy 2019 Facebooksphere! Just a gentle reminder about my mathematics and numeracy tutoring services for school, TAFE and other students. Regular after school weekday hours for my high school math tuition are filling up very fast. The best days and times for new clients are 1:00-5:00PM on weekend days (both Saturday and Sunday). Other sessions, such as early morning before school hours (Tuesday to Friday 6:00-8:30AM) as well as other off peak later times Monday to Friday ev...enings/nights can be negotiated with me. I charge a highly competitive price of $30 per hour for Lennox residents with no car travel required (occasionally you can book a session to see me from my home), and $40 per hour if an car travel is needed. The furthest north I go is Ocean Shores, furthest west is Lismore, furthest south is Broadwater, although my preference is Lennox/Ballina/Byron. Please private message me if you desire receiving some tuition for yourself or your child. Mathematics mastery is a skill that can be acquired. Practice is the key to learning any new skill.

Monday 3:30-5:15pm in the Lismore region, Thursday 7-8pm in Lennox Head, Friday 3:30-5pm in the Lennox or Ballina region is my weekday free times. On the weekends, Saturday 9-11am is available. Get in touch if any of these places and times are suitable. I tutor all the Maths courses from Year 7 through to the HSC. :)

12.01.2022 Happy Halloween Dear Network, vacancies for my math tutoring services have become available. Priority given to downtown in the flats Lennox residents, so that I can walk or skate to your address and reduce my carbon footprint. There are two scenarios of operation. For $40 an hour, I will provide low-key, off the cuff tuition where no prior preparation on my behalf would occur. This suits self-directed students, usually seniors, who know where they're weak. However, for $50 an... hour, I will do 15-20 minutes of prior planning for a math teaching style lesson tailored to student needs. If you are unsure of what package would work for you, option 2 is probably best. Most of my clients are senior high school students, but there are very few barriers to the level of learner I can guide. Mathematics is about solving real world and at times, abstract problems and putting parameters on unknowns. Engineering math is exquisitely satisfying in its ability to uncover a key cog in the gears, affecting the wheels that set motion to technology and industry. Applied numeracy is abundant in nature, with the Fibonacci sequence, fractals, and prime numbers some of the building blocks of biological and organic systems. Computer science, at its core, is founded on binary counting codes of 1s and 0s, or ons and offs, allowing digital algorithms to open up our virtual world. But what I enjoy most about mathematics is the interplay of certainty and mystery. Solving basic arithmetic, elementary algebra, and fundamental geometry usually has a discrete solution. By contrast, the principle that all problems in math have a solution is false. One cannot divide by zero under arithmetic laws, infinity is not a counting number only worked with using limits, and no real solutions is an answer to some quadratic and even functions. But I digress. Free time lots include 4:15-5:15pm Mondays in Lismore, 3:30-8:00pm Thursdays (Lennox/Ballina/Byron), & 6:30-8pm Fridays (Lennox/Ballina/Byron). I charge $25 per hour for Lennox residents or those who want to be tutored at my Byron Street address, and $30 per hour for all other locations.
