20.01.2022 Thank you @leelo and @channel7queensland for helping me locate the precious little Karleah, and her family, who stood strong in arms last week at the BLM Brisbane protest. Karleah was the little girl in the image I took which gained national traction, and thus motivating me to find the girl in the image. It has been a special afternoon spent getting to know her, her gran and extended family, listening to their powerful life stories, rich Indigenous culture and also the unfortunate painful past experiences of racial discrimination they have suffered in their home country of Australia. The post also managed to already raise over $220 for the Aboriginal Children’s Advancement Society @aimementoring @ Boondall, Queensland, Australia
