22.01.2022 Our lad has been feeling a bit crook this week, but a trip to the playground in Hillcrest this afternoon put a smile back on his face The City of Port Adelaide Enfield has over 120 playgrounds, and we’re proposing to deliver eight new and upgraded play spaces across our community as part of our 2021/22 budget. Sounds like a good idea to me... and little Edward! 18.01.2022 While out for a family stroll, my wife spotted this little freshwater turtle precariously close to the road adjacent to the local wetlands! With a bit of assistance from us, it managed to get back to safety.

01.01.2022 It’s a privilege to be a councillor, and it’s my responsibility to bring my best as a community leader. That’s why I decided in 2014 to expand my knowledge and skills through postgraduate studies at Deakin University. Having gained a Graduate Certificate of Politics and Policy in 2015 and a Graduate Certificate of Professional Political Practice in 2017, I’m happy to announce that I received confirmation yesterday that I have now completed a Masters of Politics and Policy. My... thesis, entitled Perceptions of fairness relating to political communication in Australian election campaigns, received a high distinction. It’s been a hard slog writing a thesis during an already challenging year, balancing family, work and council responsibilities. A thousand thanks to my colleagues, friends and familyespecially my wonderful wife Angelafor all your support. It’s not clear whether or not I’ll get to graduate in person due to COVID, so this photo will have to do for now!
01.01.2022 In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place: and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below.... We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields.
