19.01.2022 JUNIOR TENNIS Last weekend saw many of our junior players take on their team mates (and Seniors) which has put them in great stead for the upcoming Winter seaso...n and challenge juniors from other clubs. 19.01.2022 What a way to kick off the Australian Summer of Tennis. On 29 January, Memorial Drive will play host to 8 of the world's best tennis players in a one-off exhibition tournament. A Day at the Drive will feature tennis stars including Serena Williams, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Simona Halep, Dominic Thiem and Naomi Osaka.... Players and their support staff will be required to quarantine, here in Adelaide, in the two weeks leading up to the event, before they travel to Melbourne for the Australian Open. Finally, 70 of the best female players will compete in the Adelaide International WTA 500 in late February, to close out the international tennis season down under. To have players of this calibre playing at Memorial Drive is an absolute win for local tennis fans and the South Australian public.

04.01.2022 Seniors +Juniors = Awesomeness! In our inaugural seniors and juniors tournament the Dragon army was out in force. A cool but sunny morning kicked off early for ...a few eager volunteers who arrived at 7:30am to make sure this was going to be an event to remember. As registration opened and with everyone doing their Covid sign in upon entry the buzz in the air was electric. By 9:30am the Den was alive with our youngest Dragons proudly sporting the Dragon on their back. The future of our club is safe with these little legends improving week in week out. Shout out to City of Port Adelaide Enfield.....we need more courts....love you guys! The action all started on time at 9:45am and while the action on the court heated up so did the coffees and toasted sangas. Everyone in attendance were witness to a lot of smiles, fun and some truly great tennis. Well done to all involved and we can assure you that this event will return bigger and better! 01.01.2022 From this week, there will be canteen facilities available at Monday and Wednesday coaching sessions between 4pm and 6pm. Shirley’s friendly face will welcome you and if you are feeling hungry before or after training, Shirley can sell you snacks, drinks, toasties. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate are also available to warm up the parents on the cooler days.
