25.01.2022 Oi amigas e amigos, if you're in Launceston this weekend, the Latin American Film Festival opens tonight. As this year's host country is Brazil, there will be Forro dancing from the Tasmanian Brazilian community, and I'll play a couple Brazilian songs, some more after the film at the bar. Check out the link below for more details.
23.01.2022 This Thursday evening at Bright Eyes, Brooke St Pier, I have great the honour of sharing the stage with the acclaimed Anna Salleh, an accomplished Bossa Nova artist visiting from Sydney. We'll be doing a slot each from around 7.20pm (open mic performances start from 6pm). Bright Eyes host the Unlocked Open Mic every second Thursday, which features many emerging and established local and visiting artists. I'm very excited about this week's event, if you'd like to know more about Anna, please visit her site: https://www.annasalleh.com/
21.01.2022 The Latin American Film Festival is coming to Hobart. As Brazil is the host country this year, on opening night there will be Brazilian dancing followed by a live song or two from Brazil (from a familiar local act you may know). All films free, cheap drinks. ¡Que Viva Cine Latinos! https://www.facebook.com/events/2413410912231128/?ti=icl
20.01.2022 Thanks everyone who came along to the gig last Sunday on such a glorious Hobart winter's day. I very much enjoyed your company, it was an honour to perform for such an appreciative audience. It must have gone well, fewer death threats this week, and Bright Eyes have asked me back. Saturday 23rd November, 4pm-6pm. The Music World Cup, France versus Brazil, Bossa Nova versus Chansons Francaises. Vive! Viva!

13.01.2022 Today at 3pm Joana Cubillos and I will be on ABC radio local, chatting to Helen Shield about the Multicultural Festival, happening this Friday, and our new exciting association as musicians. Hope you can tune in https://www.abc.net.au/radio/hobart/
13.01.2022 Hey everyone, sad to say the Moonah Multicultural Festival next weekend has been postponed due to the Covid-19 precautions. At this stage my next gig will be at Bright Eyes, 4pm-6pm on Sunday 3rd May. I've invested in some equipment and will try to incorporate some new sounds from my other projects. In the meantime, if things get worse, I have a pretty good balcony here (Italians musicians are performing from their balconies during lockdown :))
12.01.2022 Hello strangers ;) It has been a while, not many venues to play at recently. Meantime, I have been working on projects, one of which I hope to have news on soon. On that, I have question: I'm looking for a fluent French speaker, preferably of contemporary Parisian French, to check a translation for said project. Message me if you know someone. Merci d'avance ;)

07.01.2022 Thank you everyone who came along last fortnight to hear the fabulous Anna Salleh. One of the best open mic nights I have played at, the mood was infectious and lasted the whole night. Thanks and well done to the other performers as well. I'll be doing another solo gig at Bright Eyes on Saturday 23rd November, 4pm-6pm. More to come on that later :)
05.01.2022 Did you know... it's possible to eat food AND listen to music at the same time? It's a world food festival, in funky Moonah, with food and music from this world and others. I'll be playing fifteen minutes of Brazilian music from around 3pm or 3.15pm on the ABC Café stage. But more importantly, there will be many other acts from all around this planet from 11am till 4pm. https://m.facebook.com/moonah.taste/
