09.01.2022 Excited to have just ordered this little piece of equipment for my personal training clients to use (yes I do nerd out over fitness gear sometimes). . It’s just a bar with two little hoops/ eyes at each end, right? Heck no, there’s so much you can do with it: . - If you have access to a home gym with two vertical cable pulleys, you can perform lat pulldowns, a great way to build the strength to move on to partial pullups and, after a while, full pullups. ... . - If you attach resistance bands to the eyes, and anchor the other ends of the bands SECURELY , you can perform at least half a dozen exercises that would normally call for a heavy and bulky barbell... but in this case you have a highly transportable and storable piece of gear. . - It’s flashier for warmups and cooldown than a plain old bamboo stick . - It’s easier to wipe down with sanitizing wipes than a 15kg barbell! In fact, there’s a plethora of exercises, such as deadlifts for example or strength training with weights in gene...ral that up to a couple of decades ago were considered by some to be men’s exercises, but are tremendously beneficial for women, and performed admirably well by them to boot. . What the phrase means is that women have unique anatomical and physiological features that a good trainer takes into account when setting and adjusting training programming for women; it’s hugely important to the quality of their results. More important still, a good trainer considers the individual history, preferences and lifestyle of the female client in front of them.
