14.01.2022 Dancers? Ensemble players? Have you developed unhelpful habits that hold you back as an actor? In today's video I talk to dancers or ensemble actors that want to step up into bigger roles but are reluctant to release themselves in the moment. I particularly focusing on the habits that are built over years of dance training. As dancers you are most often shown what TO do and told what NOT TO do. So it puts you in a difficult predicament when it comes to being free and open wh...en telling a story as an actor. When we tell story we want to be free of constraints and preconceived ideas. This is not a very common state for a dancer to be in.
