23.01.2022 I am finally back! What an epic trip that was I didn’t want to come home, but then again who does want to come home from a holiday? I learnt so much from this trip, not only in photography but about myself too. I had some time to reflect on where I am in life, where I want to be and what makes me happy. It’s been so long since I had time to do that, and let me tell you, I feel so much better for it! One major thing I took away from my experiences the last few weeks is, If y...ou’re not failing, you’re not trying hard enough!! It’s just natural to fear failure, and hey, I hate it! But we have to fail to learn and to grow. Imagine the world without it? Would be kinda weird wouldn’t it? I need to push myself beyond those comfort limits this year, it’s time for some growing! - - These good looking falls are Shannon Falls. Situated 58km north of Vancouver, not a long drive at all, and one of the most scenic drives you’ll ever do along the Sea to Sky Highway. It’s the 3rd highest waterfall in British Columbia at 335 meters that’s 1099 ft for you yanks! 12.01.2022 I still have a monstrous pile of images to go through, but went through a few of my favorite spots to get a few pics up on here. We ended up doing a long weekend road trip down to Portland which is only 5 hours south of Vancouver (the real Vancouver, not the small little town just outside of Portland ) it was fun to cross the US border in a car! It’s pretty much the same as going through immigration at the airport, and about the same level of fun this spot in called Bridal... Veil Falls and is located about 40mins east of downtown Portland. Super easy to get to, just off the highway. Only about a 10min walk downhill to get to this spot. The falls themselves are just upstream from this shot. I don’t think I have ever been to a more magical spot then this it was like an enchanted forest, the light was glistening in creating beautiful backlight to all the mossy coated trees. It was all so lush and colours were super vibrant, I didn’t wanna leave!! 02.01.2022 Did someone say.....holidays?? just a bit excited today!! Flying out tonight, haven’t done a night flight to the states before, always leave in the morning! Sort of glad though as need the time to pack yes I am one of those ‘leave it to the last minute’ guys who else is like that?
